Michael Kaufman

As a graduate of Columbia University, with a degree in Financial Economics, Michael takes an investment-oriented approach to real estate. Michael co-founded the real estate investment and development firm Kaufman Development Group, which owns and operates over 300,000 square feet of commercial buildings and over 1,000 acres of residential and hospitality properties. Michael also founded The Wick co-working properties in Historic Downtown Brunswick and Situs Real Estate. Michael has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate investment, development, and property management, as well as single-family residential sales.

Michael enjoys giving back to his community in many ways, including by serving on the boards of the following organizations: Coastal Coalition for Children (Vice President), City of Brunswick Downtown Development Authority (Treasurer), Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, Safe Harbor Center, and the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation. Michael is the proud recipient of the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce’s 2020-2021 Milton H. “Woody” Woodside Community Champion Award.

Michael is a devout family man who loves spending time with his family of four. In his free time, he’s also an avid golfer and squash player. He also enjoys travelling and exploring the many hidden gems around the Golden Isles.
